The 1st Taekwon-Do World Cup and 1st Orlando International Friendship Taekwon-Do Cup was a great success! 401 competitors, representing 72 teams from 25 countries attended the World Cup in term 19-21 November 2004.

The Europe were represented by 12 countries. In the general team classification of the 1st Taekwon-Do World Cup Poland took the first place with 5 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medals. 3rd place took Romania with 4 (1) gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medal. 4th place took Russia with 2 (1) gold, 3 silver, 5 bronze medals. 7th place had Germany with 2 (1) gold, 1(1) silver and 1 bronze medal. 12th place had Norway 1(1) gold, 1 silver and 3 (1) bronze medal. 19th place took Ireland and Ukraine with 1 gold medal. Sweden and Spain took 36th place.
In the 1st Orlando International Friendship Taekwon-Do Cup 13 place took Russia with 1(1) gold and 1silver and 2 bronze medals. 15th place took Germany with 1 gold and 1(1) silver medal. Great Britain took 1(1) gold and 0 (1) bronze medals. 23rd place took Portugal 0(1) gold, 2(1) silver and 3 bronze medals. Poland took 0 (3) gold and 1 silver medal. Ireland took 36th place with one bronze medal.
