Eurocup Umpires application

Dear Members,
AETF HQ would like to ask the AETF Member Countries to complete and to send the country application of Umpires wishing to referee during the upcoming 8th Senior and Junior European Taekwon-Do and the International Cup for Children and Cadets to be held on 09.06 - 11.06.2017r. in Lublin in Poland.

We ask the schools, clubs or national associations in Europe who wish to participate in the championships to select the umpires, to complete the application, which you can find in link below prepared by Mr. Attila Solti,

Please also sent a current photography (passport size, min. 300 dpi) before or on 20th April 2017 to Mr. Attila Solti - Member of the AETF T&U Committee at the following email: soltiattilazsolt@gmail.com
and a copy to the AETF HQ eurocup2017@pztkd.lublin.pl.

By May 29th 2017, the AETF T&U Committee will select umpires from those who will apply. The selected umpires will have covered the accommodation and board at the Euro Cup 2017 from AETF.

All Umpires who will not be among the selected referees will be able to come to Poland and to help at the European Cup if they wish and if approved by the Committee, but at their own or their association’s or clubs expenses.

Below you can read the excerpt from the invitation referring to the umpires at European Cup 2017.

UMPIRES

The Organizing Committee will cover full board accommodation in a ****hotel (water included) for 5 days / 4 nights from Thursday 8th June 2017 to Monday 12th June 2017 or maximum of 2 umpires from each participating school/club/country (for maximum 50 umpires), by the following criteria:

School/Club/Country with 0-4 competitors may accredit 1 Umpire (not obligatory)
School/Club/Country with 5-15 competitors must accredit 1 Umpire
School/Club/Country with more than 15 competitors must accredit 2 Umpires
School/Club/Country that do NOT accredit an Umpire shall pay a 200,00 € fine for every missing Umpire.

Those umpires who work for the whole tournament will be entitled for a per diem allowance. All applications for umpires must be consulted with Organizing Committee. In case of reached quota, application for umpires may be cancelled (without fine) even for teams with 5 or more competitors.

Umpires will wear the dress requirements as laid down in the ITF Umpire rules.

ATTENTION!

Countries should send their UMPIRE application form to Mr. Attila SOLTI by website above with a copy to the AETF HQ (eurocup2017@pztkd.lublin.pl) AND on or before 20th April, 2017 in order to be accepted as an Umpire for the European Cup 2017.

The AETF T&U Committee shall provide the Umpire rooming list to Polish Taekwon-Do Association on or before 20th April 2017 who shall then take care of the required hotel accommodation.

IMPORTANT DATES

20th April 2017 – First deadline for all reservations of accommodation
20th April, 2017 – Deadline for payment of 50% for accommodation
30th April, 2017 – Last date to make small changes in accommodation
29th May, 2017 – Deadline for the online registration
2nd June, 2017 – Publication of draws online
