On 26-27 May 2018 in “Lulin” Sports Center, Sofia city, Bulgaria was held the XI Regional Quadrathlon Taekwon-Do Open Championship for “Lulin” Cup. Coorganizers of the event were Sports Association of Ministry of Interior, Central Police Taekwon-Do Club, Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-Do.

We were honored to have as official guest to the competition GM Panagiotis Gialamas – President of Hellenic Quadrathlon Federation and Member of AETF Revisory Commission.

On the opening ceremeony attractive demonstration was performend by the practitioners in Lulin district leaded by the instructors Nikola Iliev and Bilyana Nikiforova.

The competitors were divided in groups of children (6-11 years), cadets (12-13 years). 315 competitors from 23 clubs participated in the individual and team disciplines: Pattern, Sparring, Special Tecnique and Power Test. A team of 50 managed umpires in 4 rings for the 2 days covered by the wireless version of Bulscore (the Bulgarian scoring system) for all 4 disciplines. Awards for best complex competitors (quadrathlonists) for each age and gender division were given and the winning places were decided according to collected points from the different disciplines and the Overall winners were determined by the points of all competitors.
