In the evening at the Václav Havel airport in Prague,was landing the plane with Senior Vice President of the Taekwon-do ITF Grandmaster Paul Weiler. The reason for such a significant visit was the Czech National Taekwon-Do Seminar, which Grandmaster Weiler, as he did last year. Part of the Friday program was a joint dinner on which the Gramdmaster was informed about the work of the Czech Taekwon-Do Federation and the plan for this year, and the last points of the weekend program were negotiated. On Saturday, 19 May, the sporting cultural center Na Fialce in Říčany Prague east welcomed all participants of the National seminars.
At 9.00 he welcomed the applause of 50 warriors of Grandmaster Paul Weiler. In the morning, the lessons were devoted to fundamental techniques and pattern up to the height of the green belts, however black belts were also presents to learn and corect techniques in accordance with the encyclopedia gen. Choi Hong Hi (last edition revised gen.Choi), the last standardization of techniques and patterns according to ITF Technical Committee and from the point of view of physics and medicine.In the afternoon block the hall was divided into two halves. In the first half the seminar with the Grand Master continued, and in the second part of the hall the students Kup holders continued to join in a seminar with international instructors. The main program was related to fundamental techniques and pattern.
Great attention was paid to basic sparing, three, two and one step sparing. In both halves of the sports hall came the series of self-defense. The first group of red and black belts were practiced defense against an opponent of the armed stick, the group then underwent the training and correction of basic self-defense and the use of techniques from fundamental exercises in duets.
At the end of the Saturday part of the seminar, was held exams for black belts 1st. and 2nd. Degrees . After a seminar that ended at 6 pm there was a brief meeting with Senior Vice President ITF GM Paul Weiler at which the participants had the opportunity to ask the Grand Master their questions. Most of the questions concerned conditions for examinations, competition or procedural rules. For all questions, Grandmaster Weiler he willingly replied and then went to the Berchtold Castle Hotel where he stayed .At 20.00, a joint dinner was held between the members of the Organizing Committee of the Seminar with the Grandmaster in the VIP Lounge of the Brewery Restaurant in Prague Uhřiněves, during which a number of working questions came.
The Sunday part of the national seminar was only for the black belt holders . From 9.00 to 12.30 there was an intensive recapitulation of the subject matter and the training and correction of the sets at higher master levels. The Sunday program was finished again by the senior vice president of the ITF, but this time only with the black belts holders , coaches and international instructors. For participating coaches from clubs from Říčany, Open Gate Babice, SKC Ondřejov, TKD Pečky, TKD Knights Mirovice and assistants from Gladiators Gym Č.Budějovice this seminar was a great chance to fix and match their techniques with the other trainers who participated in the seminars and, of course, in accordance with the ITF technical committee's corrections. 24 black belts holders took the repaired techniques, patterns, new experiences and new training methods into their clubs.The work is now also attended by international trainers who also attended the workshops at Int.instr. David Mondschein 4.Dan, Int.instr Jan Gavura 4 Dan, Int.instr.Pavel Kupr 4.Dan and Master Vladimir Machota 7.Dan in the correction of the book "CTF Test Manual", competition rules and guidelines for CTF procedures.
