Euros 2018 - Basic Information

Dear Grand Master, Master, President, Umpire, Coach, Competitor,
we are thrilled to have you attend this magnificent sports event in our city. To make your stay as carefree as possible, we have planned everything from arrival until departure, so we can avoid any unnecessary complications.

Following are some basic information, which are necessary to maintain professional work.

All teams and individuals arriving to the event, have to hold to the following protocol:
Every team goes through registration first in Hotel City Maribor Ulica kneza Koclja 22, SI– 2000 Maribor, Slovenia

  1. Upon arrival, the teams stay in the hall, the team leader and one member enter the room number B-1, where you check and possibly settle the costs of the hotel and transportation. At the counter you receive 2 X Voucher on the payment of the Hotel, one of which you give in the room B-2, which is a condition for registration of competitors and receipt of accreditations, one of which is in the Hotel without any accommodation. For those teams that will arrive late at night the Voucher will be waiting in the Hotel, but the accreditation procedure will remain the same.
  2. After settling the obligations in room number B-1, the team leader and one member enter the premises number B-2, where they check and, if necessary, settle the registration fee for the competitors.
  3. After the registration has been completed, the team is weighed on the weighing schedule you receive by e-mail to Room C-1 and C-2. The team waits in room number C-1, the invited competitor enters the room C-2, with the necessary documentation, who after the weighing goes back to the C-1 space. When the entire team is weighed, the competitors leave the room and the next team goes in.
  4. When all procedures are completed, the team goes to the Hotel. To avoid waiting, please give us a room order with the following info:
    • State
    • Name and surname
    • Date of birth
    • Address of permanent residence
    • The number of the personal document, while also preparing the document at the reception.
  5. Please be mindful of meetings for umpires and coaches, which are planned for 11.4.2018, and will take place in the same place as registration.
  6. Registration will take place in rooms B-1 in B-2 on the following schedule:
    Tuesday 14:00 – 22:00
    Wednesday 8:00 – 13:00.
  7. After 13:00, the registration will move to the room across from reception, for anyone who will arrive after that time.
  8. Transport during the competition is provided from the hotel to the hall and back to the hotel, once in the morning and once after the completed activities in the hall, according to the transport plan you receive at check-in and is located in each hotel.
  9. To ensure faster work and easier movement in the hall, all competitors, coaches, umpires and VIP must wear accreditation cards, so please enter the names of the entire team into the system, along with their role and picture.
