During the past 24th march took place the XI edition of Open International Cup Costablanca Benidorm, with resounding success in every way.

In this edition we have delegations throughout Spain, including the Ibiza Islands and especially with delegations from international schools high level of France, Slovenia, Italy and Sweden. The event was attended 410 participants.

During the day on Friday they were arriving delegations and afternoon attended the validation of weighing took place at the Palau d'Esports L'illa of Benidorm.

Saturday morning began at 9:30 am with individual forms, team forms, sparring, traditional sparring and special technics. During the afternoon with the juniors and seniors black belts participation we could see a some rounds of high level with the participation of world champions and European champions. All proud to see this high level in our city of Benidorm.

For this occasion an we desing a exclusive special medal for this Open and also for the black belt categories they won an exclusive TOPTEN gloves with a special and exclusive design for this edition of the COPA BENIDORM COSTABLANCA.

And this year with the special presence of international Clubs like from France, TKD Nimes, from Eslovenia Barada Team , from Italy Extremfighters Rome, and Hwa Rang Milano, and from Sweeden Taekwondo Akademin, Jönkoping TKD ITF and Skovde TKD , and hight competitors like Lilyan Doulay, Tomothy Bos, Urska Gazvoda and Nejc Gazvoda.

We also award to the best coach of the event to Sabum Ales Zemljić, from Eslovenia and best refree Marcos Roman. Congratulations!!!

We have in our mind to make better the event than the previus year, but we also know that some mistakes can happen, and we want to say sorry for the incoveniences that could happen during the event. We appreciate your understanding and we will work hard to improve this edition and you will enjoy the event so much in 2019. Thank you to all!!!!

From here we would like to thank all delegations for trusting our event, we made a big effort to improve the event from the previous year and all participants we hope that al participants enjoyed. . We also thank the arbitration committee FEST, Sabunim Andreu Martinez, Ana Maria Caceres and Matias Picallo, who led the referees and they did excellent work, the competition committee FEST, M José Luis, sabunim Felix Garcia and sabunim Maximiliano Montiel , for his good job, and appreciate the presence of the Masters Juan Ferrando, Master José Ramón Viudes and Master José Miguel Martinez. Also we want to thank all collaborators who helped so much so that everything was ready on time, the Department of sports City of Benidorm , Turismo Costablanca, and our main sponsor TOPTEN for their great cooperation, and the organizing committee of the Master José Luis Diego and Sabunim Paco Ferrando, along with the team of Club TAE BENIDORM.
