On Sunday February 25th the club Hodori, together with the ITF-Belgium U&T Committee, organized the 28th ITF Taekwon-Do Belgian Championships in venue ‘De Fabriek’ in Sint-Lievens-Houtem.

The competition was open to kids 3-7, youth 8-13, juniors, seniors and veterans, coloured as well as black belts.

During the day participants competed in several disciplines: kids sparring (without contact), tul, teamtul, pre-arranged free sparring, sparring, special techniques and power breaking.

For the 4th time in a row, the number of competitors had increased. On this 28th BC, 222 competitors from 14 different clubs ITF-Belgium participated. The coaches and the 43 umpires and assistants made sure the championship went on smoothly, and the U&T Committee managed to run the whole competition in less than 8 hours.

The athmosphere was great, the fair-play was random, everyone enjoyed the day, and the level of the competition was high.

At the beginning of the championship the members of the national team, selected for the EC in Slovenia, were presented to the audience.
