On February 11 the annual traditional event The First Glove 2018 was held in Minsk directed by the Belarusian Taekwondo Association. Freshmen of the coaches of the clubs Kaskad, "BRTA", "BPTA", "Juche", "Litvin" from the cities of Minsk, Mar'ina Gorka, Cherven, Osipovichi, Lepel and the huge team of Vitebsk met to struggle for medals again in Minsk. Competitions were held in four disciplines: sparring, tul, speed test and sparrings for children under 6 (tkd kids).

At the opening of the tournament the national team of the association made a demonstration performance amazed the beginners with the high technique of taekwondo and the power of breaking the boards. More than 270 participants taken part in the tournament. Many coaches debuted for the first time at this tournament, which is really pleasing as an indicator of the growth of numbers and the first stage of the quality index.
