Today was a special day for the Israeli and worldwide Taekwon-Do ITF.

It was more than a year ago that Dr. Taher Aboful and I finished the psychology of sport course. We dreamt of combining the psychology of the sport Taekwon-Do and the cognitive psychology specialty of Dr. Taher.

After developing an adequate program, we began to work together in the town of Jat, which is inhabited by Israeli Arabs. There was a large turnout with children starting from age 4 to 12. I began to teach Taekwon-Do, and once I finished Dr. Taher gave cognitive exercises.

The parents were very grateful for the class which was taught in Hebrew but simultaneously translated to Arabic. While these children are Israeli, the vast majority speaks Arabic - working together at times like these always gives hope - united by Taekwon-Do, as was the dream of General Choi Hong Hi, with no difference of race, religion or gender.
