Dear Members,
AETF HQ would like to ask the AETF Member Countries to complete and to send the country application of Umpires wishing to referee during the upcoming XXXIII Senior and XXIV Junior European Taekwon-Do Championships to be held on 12-15th April 2018 in Maribor in Slovenia.

We ask the National Associations in Europe who wish to participate in the championships to select the umpires, to complete the application under following link https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1cxPKCzYbA... and to send it.

Also please sent a current photography (passport size, min. 300 dpi) before or on February 20th 2018 to Mr. Attila Solti - Member of the AETF T&U Committee at the following email: soltiattilazsolt@gmail.com (and a copy to the AETF HQ (champ@pztkd.lublin.pl).

By February 20th 2018, the AETF T&U Committee will select 50 umpires from those who will apply. The selected umpires will have covered the accommodation and board and will receive salary for their work at the European Championships 2018 from AETF.

All Umpires who will not be among the selected 50 referees will be able to come to Maribor and to help at the European Championships if they wish and if approved by the Committee, but at their own or their association’s expenses and will not receive salary for their work from AETF.(volunteer)

Below you can read the excerpt from the invitation referring to the umpires at European Championships 2018.

UMPIRES

• The Organizing Committee will cover full board accommodation (no drinks included) for 7 days/6 nights from Tuesday, 10th April 2018, to Monday, 16th April 2018, for a maximum of 50 umpires.
• Umpires will be accommodated in twin/double (2 persons) rooms.
• Umpires will be accommodated in twin/double (2 persons) rooms.
• When an Umpire is sharing accommodation, the guest will need to pay the 4-star accommodation rate of € 75,00 per day.
• Single rooms are not available therefore Umpires wishing to stay alone shall be accommodated in a double/twin room paying an extra fee of € 44,00 per day.
• Umpires not selected, but wishing to participate and approved by the AETF Tournament & Umpire Committee, must cover their hotel accommodation according to above mentioned arrangements and will not receive any expense reimbursement by AETF.
• Umpires must attend the Umpire meeting on Wednesday April 11 th, 2018 from 16.00-18.00 at Hotel City ****
• Umpires not present at the mentioned umpire meeting will be removed from the umpire list and will have to pay their own accommodation expenses.
• Umpires have to wear appropriate clothing, as laid down in the ITF Umpire rules.
