There is a tradition that we repeat for 17 years now to end the Year with the biggest tournament. This is the legendary “Moscow Challenge” that the all Russia Taekwon-Do federation organize in the last month of every Year.

This time at 10th of December we reached such hight level of organization tha few years ago we could just dream!

1275 junior competitor from 32 Russia districts and 6 countries (Israel, Finland, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Belorussia) came together Central Army Sport Club track and field stadium (http://cska.ru/objects/3 ) This stadium was build in 1979 for the Olympic games 1980, this is a large stadium for viewers.

This became possible only because of the active assistance of Moscow Investigation committee.

All event was covered by 4 major TV canals.

The opening parade was made by 154th Preobrazhensky Independent Commandant's Regiment

154th Preobrazhensky Independent Commandant's Regiment serves as the official honor guard regiment of the Russian Armed Forces and serves as the main honor guard unit of the armed forces, stationed in Moscow. Aside from being the honor guard unit it is also charged with duties assisting the Commander, Moscow Garrison, and to serve garrison and protection duties in the protection of the capital city and its military infrastructure.

The 154th Independent Commandant's Regiment, and its predecessors, have been involved in various state and international events through the years. Aside from its duties at sporting events, other activities where they were involved include the Victory Day celebrations in Moscow from 1965 onward, where they always provide the honor guard unit for the commemorative activities.

The audience had the possibility to enjoy the demonstration team from the best Moscow city Taekwon-Do instructors and a special demonstration team of Russian Airborne Troops.

Many honorable guests was invited such us famous athletes, Olympic champions, members of parliament, army forces generals, actors, singers and other public figures.
