On 22-23 October, 2017 in Uzhgorod city was held All Ukrainian Taekwon-do Union Cup "Ukraine Open Cup" and this year the competition was international. In the sports gym "Junist" were over 600 athletes from 5 countries: Hungary, Latvia Slovakia, Moldova and Ukraine.
The competition was according to the rules of the International Taekwon-do Federation in patterns, sparring and special techniques. The official opening ceremony was at the end of the first day of competition on 21 October at 7pm and at the Gala evening were the next guests: the representatives of Zakarpatska regoin administration, well known athletes, journalists, reporters, chairmen of AUTU the president Valentyn Zorba and vice president Oleg Solovey, representatives of Global Taekwon-do Federation and international teams -participants of AUTU Cup.

The competition was held with help of electronic umpires system for scoring and fixing the results. The head umpire of the competition was the umpire of international category-A Irina Kuznetsova.

In results the first overall place took:
first place Solovey Team (Ivano-Frankivsk),
the second place SC "Tornado" (Vinnytsya)
and the third "Korolovych Team" (Uzhgorod)
