After a year of break once again - this time because of the ITF World Cup held in Budapest in 2016 - we are organizing the Eagles Cup for the sixth time with the naming sponsor of Mightyfist for the second time in 2017.
Date: 23-24 September, 2017
The location will be Üllő again, next to Budapest and very close to Liszt Ferenc International Airport (BUD).
Our competition will be held just a few weeks before the World Championships, so it is the perfect opportunity for the last final checks before the big event, or the perfect alternative if you cannot make it to Ireland. We are a perfect choice, as in individual categories (patterns and sparring) we have a round robin system, so a few match is guaranteed even if you loose your first match. (Details about the rules of the round robin system is on our website.)
For this year’s competition we also have a new treat for you: we have special rules for the special techniques competition: you might choose your heights for all of your techniques! For details please visit our website, we have released the detailed and extended rules for the special techniques categories.
Another change for this year, that we are moving most of the junior and senior individual categories for Saturday, and the children and cadets will only compete on Sunday. With this change we allow the children and cadets to register not later than Sunday early morning.
We already had competitors from the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, France, Georgia, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden and Ukraine and of course Hungary. Who will join us this year?
