For the 5th. year the ITF Denmark in co-operation with Soroe Taekwon-Do Klub arranged the annual Summer Camp in Beautiful and Historic Soroe.

This year the Camp instructors where from Denmark Mr. Thomas Brandt, 5.dan and Mr. Aleksander Aronsen, 4.dan and invited from Norway Mr. Roy Rolstad, 5. dan and Mrs. Camilla Melhus, 4.dan.

Special guest instructor from Holland was Mr. Robert Boer, 6.dan.

The Camp was a huge succes. Participants ranged from 8 years to 55 years and all had a lot of fun and of course a lot of Taekwon-Do workshops. Participants enjoyed fun Taekwon-Do games, pattern training, sparring training and of course self-defence training being fortunate enough to have the developers of the ITF Radix programme as instructors on the camp.

Saturday morning a special ITF KIDS workshop was organized by ITF Denmark KIDS co-ordinator Mrs. Ann Laursen. After a fun workshop 20 ITF KIDS students where graded in front of the camp instructors and with all the camp participants cheering their performance

Saturday evening the Danish National Black Belt Testing was performed and two aspirants went for the 1. dan test and successfully passed their test and received the new degree. First though they went through a local tradition, where practitioners passing their 1. dan examination are caught by the participating black belts and thrown in the cold showers to enjoy a martial art baptism to black belt. Everybody had great fun.
