Grandmaster Bos UK Extreme Seminars Report

Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of April was an historic weekend for us in the U.K. This was the weekend of a series of incredible seminars in England by Grand Master Bos and his son Timothy Bos.

The events were hosted by ITF England president and Pro-Action Martial arts chief instructor Mr Tom Nicholson, and ITF England treasurer and Palcic TKD chief instructor Mr Paul Palcic, and we are very happy to say all sessions were sold out prior to the event. A total of 240 students were in attendance hoping to partake of the huge wealth of knowledge that GM Bos possesses. The students were not disappointed.

The weekend started with the Saturday colour Belt session in Wembley London. There were students from all across the UK including Scotland in attendance on this session, and of all ages and belt levels. GM Bos delivered a hugely exciting and indeed entertaining 2 hours of intense training. It was remarkable how relaxed the students were training under such a senior rank as Grandmaster Bos. This was all down to his relaxed and charismatic approach, he taught all sessions with a genuine warmth and passion for all students.

The Black Belt session in the afternoon was also quite brilliant. In attendance were many masters and senior ranked black belts from across the UK. Once again GM Bos displayed extraordinary skill in balancing very serious TKD subjects with a light hearted and warm approach. Many exciting drills were taught and we treated to some truly incredible demonstrations by GM Bos and his son Timothy Bos.

Indeed this was a historic event for many reasons, but one of them was the fact that it was the first time ever that GM Bos had bought his son to assist at a seminar. It worked brilliantly and balanced out the sessions extremely well.

Sunday saw GM Bos teach in Mr Nicholson's excellent full time gym facilities in Northampton. Many different training methods were taught to both colour belts and black belts on the Sunday session, as well as a most excellent question and answer section. It was plain to see how much the students enjoyed their time training under GM Bos and son.

The feedback from all who attended has been overwhelming, with many students saying it was the best seminar they have ever attended. It is magnificent that GM Bos has made himself so accessible to students of all ages and grades and ranks. This was a hugely successful weekend and a great inspiration for all ITF England members.

Thank you GM Bos and Timothy Bos for such an amazing weekend of seminars.

Paul Palcic and Tom Nicholson.
