13th of November was marked as one of the most important events in the Belarusian Taekwon-Do - the sports season opened.

Tournament "Cup Belaya Rus’" brought together athletes of all ages and qualifications. Many participants from Minsk, as well as from the other different parts of Belarus gathered to the competition. Teams of Lepel, Vitebsk and Osipovichi, Maryina Horka attended that tournament. All those teams are the representatives of the Belarusian Republican Taekwondo Association including Minsk club "Cascade". Also such guest clubs as "Juche", "Sparta" and "Lytvyn” took part in the competition.

The whole day there had been a rough struggle for a medal and a place on the winners-stand. There were several sections: Pattern, massogi (sparring) and team matsogi. More than 430 participants showed fortitude and insistently went to their goal. Many of them are already black belts owners, medalists and winners of the last 2016 World Cup in Budapest, Hungary.

Team score of the “Cup Belaya Rus’ ”:

• First place - Belarusian Republican Taekwondo Association- 29 gold medals
• Second place - club "Litvin" - 14 gold medals.
• Third - the club "Sparta" 8 gold medals.

Congratulations to all the participants, their parents and of course, the coaches, who were able to see the results of their hard work.

During the official opening of the competition the Chairman of the Belarusian Association of Taekwondo gave a solemn speech in which he pointed out the winners of the recent World Cup in Hungary. Tournament organizers have presented memorable entire coaching staff. Also children and their parents were able to enjoy the demonstration performances of the students of Cheerleading Group "New Style".

Next start is 17th Christmas Cup which will be held on December 18, 2016. It is expected to have a record number of participants and visitors from different countries. This tournament will then receive an international status!
