GM Javier Dacak, ITF Vice president, visited Belgium and gave an outstanding seminar that covered different aspects. He was assisted by his daughters Iara and Alana Dacak, both World Champion and World Cup champion respectively.

The seminar took place in Brussels, Woluwe Saint Pierre, on Wednesday 19 October and lasted three hours. It covered the new ITF Protocol, basic and fundamental principles to improve performance of tul, step sparring and some principles of sparring. GM Dacak also took the opportunity to share with the participants some memories about the first and second world championships, where he was twice world champion, and some nice stories about moments with the General Choi Hong Hi.

There were participants from all regions in Belgium, Luxembourg, Argentina and Paraguay, from X kup till VIII Degree, children, juniors and adults. Master Frank Vanberghen, technical director of Belgium was also present, and offered GM Dacak some souvenirs on behalf of the Belgian Federation. After the seminar the instructors (IV Degree and higher belts) and organizers enjoyed a toast with GM Dacak and his family.
