Seminar with GM Dacak in Belgium

Dear Masters, Instructors, Taekwon-Do practitioners
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the first Seminar in Europe with Grand Master Javier Dacak, IX Degree, ITF Vice President. The seminar will take place in Brussels (Woluwe-Saint- Pierre), Belgium, on Wednesday 19th October 2016, from 18:30 till 21:30.

Grand Master Dacak has extensive experience as a competitor, umpire, instructor and leader of the AIT association (“Academia Internacional de Taekwon-Do”) which has more than thousand members in Argentina and Paraguay. Please find below some of his major achievements:
- 2 times World Champion in 1974 (first world championship of the history of ITF in Canadá) and 1978 (Oklahoma, USA), in power breaking with zonkal taerigi. Having until now the record with this technique (7 wooden boards of 1 inch each)
- Organizer of the 3rd world championship held in Argentina in 1981
- Special award to the Loyalty, given by the General Choi Hong Hi to 9 Masters in Kuala Terenganu, Malaysia, in 1994
- Special award to the best instructors of the millennium, given during the world championship in Argentina in 1999
- Minister of Sports of the Republic of Paraguay in 2008
- Member of the Taekwon-Do Halle of Fame
- Current President of the Taekwon-Do Federation of Paraguay

Many students of GM Dacak have obtained outstanding results at national and international championships including World Cups and World Championships.

He recently drafted the new ITF Protocol, which will enter into force as of January 2017.

He is coming to Belgium after the World Cup and will share his valuable knowledge and experience with us. He will be assisted by his two daughters: Iara Dacak (World Champion Benidorm 2013) and Alana Dacak (World Cup Champion Jamaica 2014).

The seminar will last three hours and focus on traditional Taekwon-Do and the new ITF Protocol. It is open to kids, juniors and adults of all grades. It will be in English, with simultaneous translation into French.
