Yekaterinburg (Russian: Екатеринбу́рг; alternatively romanized as Ekaterinburg) is the fourth-largest city in Russia and the administrative center of Sverdlovsk Oblast, located in the middle of the Eurasian continent, on the border of Europe and Asia. At the 2010 Census it had a population of 1,349,772.
The all Russia Taekwon-Do federation consists of district/regional federations. One of this federations is the “Sverdlovsk Oblast Taekwon-Do Federation” were Yekaterinburg is the capital city. The President of “Sverdlovsk Oblast Taekwon-Do Federation” Mr. Konstantin Grevtsev organized the annual seminar conducted by Master Lazaros Tsilfidis.
This time the seminar was focused on performing patterns according the ITF IIC standards. Russia is a big country but all instructors do what is possible to update all members of All Russia Taekwon-Do Federation with the ITF standards. For this reason during the current school year the delegations of Russian instructors headed by the ARTF President Master Lazaros K. Tsilfidis were present at the International Instructor Courses in Uzbekistan and Finland and are planning to attend for sure the next IIC in European countries of Poland and France. Right after the IIC’s the instructors try immediately to spread the information around all members that had not the possibility to attend the international courses abroad.
Following this policy for many years, on 27-28th February 2016 was organized the seminar in Yekaterinburg with 148 participants.
