On March 13th, 2016 in Omsk in SC “Red Star” took place the Cup of Siberia of Тaekwon-Do (ITF) with the support of the Ministry for Youth Affairs, Physical Education and Sport of the Omsk region.

Master Tsilfidis Lazaros Konstantinovich, the president of Russia Тaekwon-Do (ITF) Federation was present there as an honorary guest at a tournament.

800 athletes from 11 regions of Russia took part in the tournament: Tula, Voronezh, Novosibirsk, Samara, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen, Omsk regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Zabaykalsky Krai, Republic of Buryatia and Republic of Bashkortostan.

Performances were held on the competition rings consisting of 9 matted playing surfaces (dojang) in the following disciplines of Тaekwon-Do (ITF): pattern (tull), sparring (matsogi), power test (weerok) and special technique (T).

The opportunity to follow the competitions online was provided for the Internet fans. Broadcasting was conducted from four competition rings where competitions in pattern and sparring took place.

The winners and prize-winners of a tournament were awarded with diplomas and medals, overall champions also with the trophies.
