On the 5th and 6th March 2016 in Kyiv city was held the Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Championship for juniors and seniors. In the championship took part a lot of athletes from ten regional unions.

Participants competed in four divisions: sparring, patterns, power test and special techniques. Athletes were divided into divisions depending on their age and level of preparation. The head umpire of the competition was Mrs. Iryna Kuznetsova.

"This competition showed that level of individual preparation of each athlete grew up" said Valentyn Zorba, the president of All Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union. It was kind of test for each trainer of AUTU, whose students showed their achievements, power of spirit and will to win.
“Also I want to say about the professional work of judges leaded by Iryna Kuznetsova. Our sportsmen have potential and the leadership does everything possible to make proper conditions for them." - said Mr. Zorba.
