On 20-21 February 2016 in “Eng. Yanko Yankov” Sports Hall, Elin Pelin city, Bulgaria under the patronage of the Mayor of Elin Pelin Municipality Mr. Ivaylo Simeonov, was held the VIII Quadrathlon Taekwon-Do Open Championship for “Levski” Cup. The event organized by Taekwon-Do Club “Levski”, Sports Club “Levski”, Sports Association of Ministry of Interior, Central Police Taekwon-Do Club, Bulgarian Association of Taekwon-Do and the Municipality of Elin Pelin.

Official guests to the competition were Mr. Ivaylo Simeonov - Mayor of Elin Pelin Municipality, Mr. Ivan Mladenov – Secretary General of Sports Association of Ministry of Interior, Mrs. Gergana Naydenova and Mr. Nikolay Pleshtov – representatives of Elin Pelin Municipality, as well as the directors of the schools which support Taekwon-Do of Elin Pelin Municipality – Mrs. Radka Arnaudova, Mr. Nako Nakov.

A total number of 305 competitors from 25 clubs participated in the individual disciplines: Pattern, Sparring, Special Tecniques and Power Test, and were divided in the groups of children (6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13 years) and juniors (14-17 years). The competition was supported by 50 Umpires team for the 2 days leaded by Mr. Hristiyan Tsankov which used Bulgarian scoring system BulScore for all 4 disciplines.

Final overall standings:

Children (6-13 years)
1. CPTC “97 School” – 19 gold, 15 silver, 21 bronze;
2. NSOU “Sofia” – 18 gold, 16 silver, 15 bronze;
3. TC Levski “61 School” – 9 gold, 12 silver, 9 bronze.

Juniors (14-17 years)

1. CPTC “97 School” – 7 gold, 6 silver, 4 bronze;
2. NSOU “Sofia” – 5 gold, 3 silver, 0 bronze;
3. TC Levski “61 School” – 3 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze.

Winners of VIII Quadrathlon Taekwon-Do “Levski” Cup
1. CPTC “97 School” – 649 points;
2. NSOU “Sofia” – 521 points;
3. TC Levski “61 School” – 326 points.
