February 11-14, 2016 The Taekwon-Do ITF Championship of Russia took place in Tambov. The competition has become a real challenge not only for sportsmen who fought for medals and what’s more important for the place in the national team, but also for organizers of the event.

It was the first time for Tambov to become a place for such a mass scope. Moreover, it should be noticed that the debut was a great success. Residents from all cities and towns of Russia remarked the high quality of the organization of the event. What’s more, the opening was attended by the officials. They supported athletes, who took part in final combats. The country’s best athletes showed all their skills and shared the experience gained in previous competition days.

Magnificent performance organized by creative communities of Tambov was showed to audience.

In conclusion it should be said that event had a great success among all the participants. The national team was formed in a competitive environment. And we all hope that our sportsmen will not fail and will do their best in the upcoming European Championship which will take place in Finland, Tampere, 28 April - 1 May, 2016
