IUC Ireland June 2016 - Info Pack
Dear Grandmasters, Masters, Instructors, Students and Friends,
We have the honour to invite you and all ITF members 1st Kup to 9th Dan Black Belt, to the ITF International Umpire Course to be held in the Citywest Hotel, Conference and Leisure Centre, Dublin, Ireland on Saturday June 4th & Sunday June 5th 2016.
As well as being open to 1st Kup and above this is also a “Qualifying” IUC for those wishing to officiate at the World Cup in October 2016 in Budapest and at the ITF World Championships to be held in this very venue in October 2017. During the IUC you will have an opportunity to tour the World Championships 2017 arena (right beside the hotel and IUC hall). We have arranged a special rate with the Citywest Hotel for all IUC participants and we have held a number of rooms for the event, however please book your place fast to avoid disappointment.
It is also an ideal opportunity to extend your stay and take a holiday in Ireland’s beautiful capital city.
We hope that you can join us in the beautiful Country of Ireland for this exciting event.

Note:
Main Speakers and course leaders
Master Rubén Suarez, Master Kurt Ottesen, members of the ITF Umpire Committee, Master Alberto Katz Chairman of the ITF Umpire Committee and Grandmaster Wim Bos Director of ITF and Chair of the International Competition Committee, will be in charge of conducting the IUC.
Special Guests confirmed so far…
Master Gordon Wallace member of the ITF Umpire Committee, Master Harry Vones, Master Coos Van den Heuvel and Master Giovanni Cecconatto members of the ITF Tournament Committee.
Please note Grandmaster Ung Kim Lan Member of the ITF Technical Committee will also be present assist the course leaders on any technical issues pertinent to the current ITF rules for competiton and scoring procedures.
Course fee: 1st Kup to 6th Degree: 115 Euro, Masters: 80 Eur
