AUTU Umpire Seminar

In the period from 24.01 to 07.02 All Ukrainian Taekwon-do Union held three stages of empire courses, which were in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv and Kharkiv. In the seminars took part 109 athletes. The seminars were theoretical and practical. During them people achieved new knowledge about changing the rules of ITF. Also there were included recommendations of AETU. Sessions were conducted by the chairman of the panel of empires, the empire of international category "A" Kuznetsova Iryna. In the result of the seminars the judiciary of AUTU was formed, who will have the right to serve sports events of AUTU.

"To teach the sportsmen the TKD techniques it is just a part, another thing is to assess the skills level. We desire to teach our empires in the way of justice and responsibility, to be honest and principled, to be objective in making decisions. From the first sign there is no reason which hand a referee will" raise " on the dayang, showing us who is the winner. But for the athletes who worked really hard preparing for the competition, the decision is very important, I can say fateful in TKD life" said the president of AUTU Valentyn Zorba."

The empires must be appropriate specialist in TKD, who with the moral competence can objectively sum up performances of each athlete on the competition. Every decision of an empire must be adequately understood by a sportsman and the trainer, and stimulate a tandem for the further development " said Valentyn Zorba.
