Novosibirsk (the “new city of Siberia” in Russian) is the third most populous city in Russia after Moscow and St. Petersburg and the most populous city in Asian Russia, with a population of 1,473,754 as of the 2010 Census. It is the administrative center of Novosibirsk Oblast as well as of the Siberian Federal District.
The city is located in the southwestern part of Siberia on the banks of the Ob River adjacent to the Ob River Valley, near the large water reservoir formed by the dam of the Novosibirsk Hydro Power Plant, and occupies an area of 502.1 square kilometers.
In this beautiful city on 13th December 2015 was organized the 3rd edition of “Novosibirsk Open Cup”.
The main organizer was Mr. Egor Kretinin a 4th degree international instructor. This time the cup had 260 competitors from 4 Russia districts and this is a good result if we will compare it with the previous edition that had only 160 competitors. The opening ceremony was organized very professional.
Master Lazaros Tsilfidis - the President of all Russia Taekwon-Do Federation, and Member of the Board of ITF and AETF federations was present as an honorable guest.
