On 15th of November 2015 in the city of Tambov in Russia took place the Annual Taekwon-Do Championships of the Central Federal District of Russia. (Central Federal District)

312 competitors from 13 districts out of 18 from the central Federal District of Russia participated in this event!

During the tournament the Tambov regional sport committee authorities showed to Master Lazaros Tsilfidis, the President off all Russia Taekwon-Do Federation the new Combat sports sport center that the government is building in the center of the city of Tambov.

The Combat sport center is a complex of 4 major buildings with over 10000 square meters that includes many different sport halls for combat sports a hotel for 450 beds, swimming pool, a close track and field stadium, medical and rehabilitation center, press conference and administration center.

We believe that this center will help the development of all combat sports and Taekwon-Do will be one of them.

The most important to the Russia Taekwon-Do Federation is that there was able to have an agreement that the all Russia Taekwon-Do Federation will be the first federation that will organize the all Russia championships in this beautiful combat center. Of course there are many things that must be done, but we believe that everything will be ready till October 2016 when we plan to host the all Russia Championships.
