From 18th to 20th November 2015 at the Masaryk University in Brno (Czech Republic) took place 10th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON KINANTHROPOLOGY "Sport and Quality of Life". Official website of the conference under the link:

Martial arts and combat sports were part of one of the panel discussion during the conference.
Two members of the Scientific Research Committee of All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation - Professor Jacek Wąsik, 4th Degree from Czestochowa, Poland and Doc. Ph. D. Zbigniew Bujak, 7th Degree from Biała Podlaska, Poland, both representing their universities, made an active contribution into this conference.
Master Bujak and Mr. Wąsik were lecturers at the conference and did present results of their research on the following subjects:

Bujak Zbigniew, Gierczuk Dariusz, Sołtan Jarosław (PL): A FOUR - YEAR STUDY OF TAEKWON-DO INJURIES OF SENIOR NATIONAL COMPETITORS.
The report referring to injuries among the polish senior competitors invoked a number of questions and raised discussion between the participants. See the presentation.
