On Saturday 14th November 2015 at the Conference Room of Central Sport Center "Torwar" in Warsaw was held Election Statutory General Assembly of Polish Taekwon-Do Association.

The meeting was attended by 62 participants, out of which 50 were delegates.
The most important point of agenda was the election of the PTA authorities.

The newly elected PTA Board of Directors consists of the following members:

We wish to the new PTA Board of Directors success in the upcoming term.

At the general assembly many subjects regarding the situation of PTA were discussed:

The Former President – Master Tadeusz Loboda presented comprehensive report from the activity of the Board in the previous term 2011-2015. He underlined good achievements on the organizational and sport level. He pointed out that over 24 years the Polish National Team was winning the first place in the overall country medal classification in the European Championships. This achievement should be probably written in the Guinness Record Book because there in all probability no any other sport which would gain the primacy on the old continent for so long among such a strong competition.

He mentioned that over the whole cadence the Polish Taekwon-Do Association has supported all important events of International Taekwon-Do Federation starting from courses, official cups and championships as well as open tournaments while sending there numerous representatives and participants in order the events became successful.

Master Loboda has informed that He is leaving the PTA in a good financial condition which was confirmed by the exterior financial auditing and the report of the Revisory Commission.

The Congress has voted and approved four important documents:

• The work program of the Board of Directors and the Revisory Commission in the term 2015-2019
• Implementation of the updated Anti-Doping Rules into the PTA disciplinary rules
• The exterior financial auditing

Master Zbigniew Bujak – PTA Vice President on educational matters, on behalf of the Board Members, handed to Master Loboda a commemorative plaque as an expression of gratitude for his efforts in development of Taekwon-Do in Poland. The change on the position of the PTA President resulted from the Polish law on sport, which obligatory imposes on a person the possibility to hold the position of a president of sport association for only two cadences.

Master Jedut, the newly elected President, mentioned in his speech that the good results of the Association are results of the cooperation of all members and that in his term He would like to continue projects which were implemented by now.

Among others subjects on the Congress also the political situation in Poland was discussed as well as the next steps which should be taken to develop Taekwon-Do ITF. One of the important goals of the Meeting was the discussion and approval of the calendar of of events of the Polish Taekwon-Do Association. To see the calendar click on the link:

All members received the congratulation letter and a bath towel, specially prepared on this occasion.

The newly elected Board of Directors decided that the fist official meeting will take place on December 12th, 2015 in Lublin.
