Master Paul Weiler (Senior Vice President of ITF, VI11 Degree) conducted a great and inspiring seminar on Saturday 28th February 2015. Master Frank Vanberghen (Technical Director of Belgium, VIII Degree) and Kemal Kasim were the special guests of the event.
The seminar took place at the school TKD Woluwe, in Brussels, and had two main purposes: (i) the first one, to thank the Belgian ITF family for its contribution to the fundraising campaign to help Kemal Kassim, a Taekwon-Do practitioner who lost one leg when he was 6 years old; (ii) the second one, to talk about friendship and Taekwon-Do as a tool for social development.
The seminar lasted 2 hours, in which Master Weiler showed some games, gave good advices on how to avoid common mistakes during warming up exercises and talked about sine wave and stances in certain patterns. There was some time to ask questions to Master Weiler.
Kemal Kasim, who trained with the group of participants, closed the seminar with an amazing performance of tul Choong-Moo that impressed the audience.
Around 50 participants of the schools ITF Brussels, TKD Woluwe, Samjok-O and ITF Etterbeek, children and adults, instructors and students, were present, enjoyed a lot the seminar and returned back home highly motivated.
After the seminar, our special guests enjoyed a lunch in the city center of Brussels and a sightseeing tour by car. It was a great honor to receive Master Weiler and Mr Kemal Kassim in Belgium.
The seminar was very special, plenty of emotions, in a very friendly atmosphere. The participants will remember it forever.
