For the second time within a week the capitol of Lower Silesia Region in Poland – Wroclaw was a meeting point for coaches and competitors associated in Polish Taekwon-Do Association, who gathered in Wroclaw to increase their knowledge and Taekwon-Do skills.

On the days 27th – 28th February 2015 in Wroclaw took place a technical seminar, organized traditionally before the black belt grading, conducted by Master Jerzy Jedut – 7th Degree, the PTA Vice-President. The seminar was held in the sport hall at 61 Horbaczewskiego Street, which on a daily basis is a training hall of Wroclaw Sport Taekwon-Do Club leaded by Mr. Adam Alenowicz – 6th Degree. Together 60 participants from 17 clubs took part in the tutorial. Those clubs were: 1) MKST Bystrzyca Kłodzka, 2) LKS Matogi Ciechanów, 3) Victoria Działoszyn, 4).GKT Gdańsk, 5) SAT Jawor, 6) KS Dragon Janów, 7) KS Wojownik Kłobuck, 8) KAT Kraków, 9) LKT Legnica, 10) KKSW Lubin, 11) LSKT Lublin, 12) KTT Łódź, 13) PSKT Poznań, 14) RKS Feniks-Arete Rybnik, 15) UKS TKD Świętochłowice, 16) CTKD Wrocław, 17) WSKT Wrocław.

On Friday, 27th February took place the first part of the seminar which lasted two hours. It was dedicated to the improvement of pattern and techniques from the pattern up to 1st cup.

According to the schedule of the meeting, on Saturday - the second day – the seminar was divided into two parts. The first part took place from 9.30 to 11.30 a.m. and referred to the pattern for color belts. During the second part, dedicated to black belt holders, which lasted from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., the participants had chance to improve the patterns up to 6th Degree. At the end of each part the attendees were presented with the certificates of participation.

The atmosphere and the commitment of all present people who practiced during two days seminar confirms the thesis of Master Jedut, who conducted the seminar, that only the person who loves patterns will be able to love Taekwon-Do.

The test for black belts started already on Saturday evening at 6.00 p.m. The first nine courageous candidates proceeded to trial and for six of them the attempt finished fortunately.

The panel of examiners consisted of GM Ung Kim Lan, Master Jerzy Jedut and Mr. Zbigniew Semp – 6th Degree, has together examined and questioned 39 candidates: 31 people for 1st Degree, 4 for 2nd Degree, 2 for 3rd Degree, and 1 person for 4th and 5th Degree.

The black belt exams in Poland are national and open for every willing person to watch at. Therefore, to both - the seminar and the grading came many instructors with there students to encourage their pupils but also to watch how other people deal with the exam.

The next seminar and exam will take place on 5th – 7th June 2015 in Lublin.
