On Saturday 21st February in Dortmund and in Lünen, the ITF-Germany organized the first black belt examination in 2015 for the candidates from 1st to 4th degree. In the run-up exactly 20 participants had registered themselves to the examinations. The candidates were divided into two groups and allocated to the excellent Taekwon-Do-Clubs: Budokan Dortmund and Tan Gun Lünen.
In Dortmund the ITF Germany was represented by the board of examiners that consisted of GM Kim-Lan Ung 9th Degree, GM Rolf Becking 9th Degree and Master Christa Wintzer 8th Degree. Master Harry Vones 8th Degree, Master Walter Komorowski 7th Degree and Master Brahim Triqui 7th Degree were the examiners in Lünen.
The candidates, who came to Dortmund and Lünen from whole over Germany, presented their skills in front of the exam committee. Among the adepts the youngest was Maissa Triqui (10 years, daughter of Master Brahim Triqui).
The participants had to demonstrate their Taekwon-do skills in the areas of Tuls, Sambo-, Ibo- and Ilbo-Matsogi, Hosinsul, free sparring as well as power and special techniques. Also their theoretical knowledge about Taekwon-Do was checked in a written and oral test.
After five hours exhausting examination the participants have received the results as well as remarks and suggestion for the future Taekwon-Do practice.
