Participants of the traditional Christmas training camp have experienced an exciting weekend in the days 12th – 14th of December 2014. The camp was organized by the School Kwang-Gae in cooperation with the Czech Federation of Taekwondo and was attended by Taekwondists from the following clubs: Brandýs nad Labem, Říčany, Babice, Ondřejov, Tehov, Mladá Boleslav, České Budějovice, Borovany a Křemže. The camp has started by a ceremonial evening, where the best competitors of the year 2014 have been announced and furthermore the members of the Czech National team and members of the enlarged Czech National team have been officially nominated. The ceremony has been held in the presence of sponsors, partners of the Czech National team, members of the training camp and parents.

The best competitors of the year 2014 (National Champions) were announced in senior category Milan Zach III. Dan (trainer of club Borovany), in junior category Arso Ivoševič 1. kup (club Říčany) and Denisa Stárková I.Dan (trainer in club Křemže), in category under 15 years Petr Pros I.Dan (club Brandýs nad Labem) and Denisa Trnková 1.kup (club Říčany). These National Champions have received from hands of the Head of the competition commission Michal Machota III.Dan (trainer of club Praha and Tehov) cups of the Czech Federation of Taekwondo, certificates, presents from our sponsors and a financial reward from our partner HAYASHI – TOP TEN in a form of gift cards for sports clothes.

Second part of the evening belonged to nominations of new members of the Czech National team. The nomination lists were handed over by the main trainer of the Czech National team Int. Instructor Michal Novák IV.Dan (trainer of Gladiators Gym and Fight club České Budějovice) to Igor Zavadovský (club Říčany), Lucie Staňková (club Ondřejov), Petr Chmel (club České Budějovice), Martin Jonáš (club Říčany), Arso Ivočševič (club Říčany), Michal Kupilík (club Říčany), Karolína and Veronika Benešová (club České Budějovice). Furthermore in the current National team continue Milan Zach (club Borovany), Jan Ohem (club Brandýs nad Labem), Jan Gavura (club Mladá Boleslav) and Denisa Stárková (club Křemže).

Members of the core and enlarged National team have received from the sponsor new team representation training clothes for the following World Championship in Italy. Part of the evening was also a buffet during which all participants could share their experience and joy.

The second day joined all participants of the camp two trainings before the noon with the main representation trainer Michal Novák. Further two trainings were held after lunch, led by the International Instructor Jan Gavura IV.Dan (Taekwon-Do and Hapkido), which were focused on selfdefence. Participants could have trained with the national champions, National team members and international instructors. Therefore on the dryers in the hotel sweated Doboks of all participants could be found. And thats what Taekwon-Do is about. The fifth training was for International instructors with focus on forms for V. - VII.Dan and for Milan Zach to prepare him for his evening fight for a title in a gala night that was held the same day at 19:00 in the town Jesenice near Prague. With delight and proud we can inform that Milan made the honor to himself, his trainer and the whole Taekwon-Do, when he won above his competitor in Muay Thai with the result 3:0. The program of the training camp was followed by an evening masquerade party, where everybody was entertained by DJ Tomi. Nevertheless the biggest entertainment was a chocolate fountain in which children put not only fruit and cookies but everything they have found. Participants of the camp have received Christmas presents. After the masquerade party the last sixth training was held. The training was only for the National and enlarged National team members. On Sunday two trainings were held by the International Instructor Vladimír Machota VI.Dan with focus on traditional Taekwon-Do techniques and team forms with choreographics.

The camp was finished on Sunday 14. 12. 2014 at 15:30. Thanks to the possibilities of the sports area we had a hall with tatami, mirror hall, place for a disco, sauna, great cuisine and beautiful nature.
