Seminar and Dan Grading in Poland

On the weekend from 12th to 14th December 2014 in Lublin, Poland took place the national seminar as well as the black belt grading for candidates for 1st up to 6th Degree.

The black belt test started on Saturday Evening - December 13th - at 6 p.m. The second part of the grading took place on Sunday Morning and Afternoon - December 14th.

The panel of examiners was leaded by Grand Master Ung Kim Lan – 9th Degree from Germany, Member of the ITF Technical Committee. GM Ung Kim Lan was assisted by Master Zbigniew Bujak, Master Janusz Gutkowski and Master Wojciech Zdanuczyk – all three 7th Degree - from Poland.

Together 49 people attended the grading of whom 29 got promoted.

On 12th and 13th December - the days predated the exam – took place a national seminar organized by Polish Taekwon-do Asssociation. 51 participants from 21 schools came to Lublin to take part in the seminar, which was conducted by Master Jerzy Jedut – 7th Degree.

The seminar, held by PTA on a regular basis, is dedicated to the candidates who are preparing for black belt exam. However it is also very popular among the instructors and other participants wishing to remind themselves the knowledge on the technical part of Taekwon-do training.

The next seminar and black belt grading will take place from 27th February to 1st March 2015 in Wroclaw, Poland.
