Krasnodar Krai (Russian: Краснода́рский край) is a federal subject of Russia (region), located in the Southern Federal District. Its administrative center is the city of Krasnodar. This federal subject is one more part of Russia that last Year joined the All Russia Taekwon-Do Federation from the Chang Ung group of Russia. The leader of Taekwon-Do Federation of Krasnodarsky Krai is Miss Anna Katrenko is a principal of sport school with 2000 students and 50 employees. Notably in this Part of Russia approximately 3000 persons are practicing Taekwon-Do ITF. Now they all are returning to our ITF.
The first big step was the organization of the Open Cup of Krasnodar Krai that took place on 24th -26th of October 2014 in the beautiful city of Sochi. Sochi located on the Black Sea coast near the border between Abkhazia and Russia.
Sochi is Russia's largest resort city and it is one of the very few places in Russia with a subtropical climate, with warm to hot summers and mild winters. This city is mostly known as the host of the last Winter Olympic Games. Because of the Olympic Games the city was totally rebuilt and has currently the most advanced sport facilities including stadiums, sport halls, hotels etc, that completely fulfill all requirements of such big sport events as Winter Olympic Games.
The Open Cup of Krasnodar Krai was organized by Miss Anna Katrenko. The chairman of the Umpire Committee was Mr. Yury Gromov. The honorable guests were the President of all Russia Taekwon-Do Federation Master Lazaros Tsilfidis and Mister Alexander Systsov, who was for a long period the head coach and after that the acting president of Chang Ung Group of Russia before he rejoined our ITF Federation.
The competition, which was the first official cup in this area, gathered 300 competitors from 8 Russian districts.
And we are sure this will became one of the most wanted destination places for competitors all around Russia to participate in the competition in the nearest future.
