This year Svea Cup was held 8th of november in the town of Södertälje which is located about 35km south of Stockholm. This was for the 8th time this competition was arranged and attracted about 250 participants from 22 clubs, where four clubs came from Finland.

The contest had as usual patterns and sparring with all age categories, from age 8 years to seniors which made it totally 90 different classes. As the organizer of Svea Cup, it was great to see that the level of practitioners become better every year and that more and more advanced starting to find the contest, a perfect race to get matches and try new techniques.

It is worth mentioning that one of the major classes were men advanced (2kup-6dan) -78kg, which had the whole 12 participants.
