White Tiger TKD would like to express its gratitude for Lyndsey Conway, World Champion from Poland, for the excellent seminar she taught on October 11th-12th at our school in CT. Coming from the MKS Lewart AGS Lubartow Club in Poland, she shared her extensive knowledge and passion for Taekwon-Do, along with scientifically-informed training drills. Our students were left sore-muscled, athletically-informed, and inspired to push their limits!

On Day 1, Ms. Conway worked with children and adults color belts, sharing skill-building games, exercises, and self-defense tactics, followed by a vigorous black-belt training session. Day 2 was dedicated exclusively to black-belts. In both sessions she answered questions, imparted wisdom, and stirred passion. Over 40 students attended this event, coming from Canada, Pennsylvania, and CT. It was a wonderful opportunity to train together, learn, and strengthen our sense of community in the ITF, both local and distant.

Afterwards, celebrating our time together outside the Do-Jang, we had the honor of bringing Ms. Conway to her first Halloween event in the US: the Trail of Terror, an elaborate haunted walk in CT. Though it was her first such event, with monsters and blood and actors jumping out to scare victims, Ms. Conway handled herself bravely (and no actors were injured due to her fast reflexes).

Lyndsey Conway is a talented instructor and left a deep impression on everyone who attended the seminar. We look forward to many more great training sessions together!
