The Battle of Utrecht 2014 was held on 5 October in Utrecht Netherlands.

This year there were clubs from the Wales, England, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany total 341 competitors more than last year. All the European and World champions of all the ITF organizations of the Netherlands took part in this tournament; they compete in sparring, pattern and pre-arranged, youth-juniors and seniors.

The Battle of Utrecht is one of the biggest and very competitive tournament in the Netherlands, every year we have other countries. This year Wales and always present umpire Sabum Annick from Belgium.

On the competition we used different colour tablecloths instead of square numbers on every competition area so all the kids could find there field very easy, go to the red-blue-yellow-purple… field. Also this year there was a big screen for the competitors, coaches and of course the spectators. So it was very clear which category was competing on what square on that moment.

There were a lot of Youth colour belt Taekwon-Do talents, see the pictures.

We always have a lottery for the audience. The lucky persons received very nice prizes; Taekwon-Do bags, a pad for training, Taekwon-Do book, several posters with pattern 1-9, safety equipment. Sponsored by the Top Ten distributor Fighters Pride and a Taekwon-Do book from Academie Gelderland.
