Ussuriysk (Russian: Уссури́йск) is a city in Primorsky Krai Region in Russia, located in the fertile valley of the Razdolnaya River, 98 kilometers (61 miles) north of Vladivostok and about 60 kilometers (37 miles) from both the China–Russia border and the Pacific Ocean.

In this beautiful city on 3rd August 2014 was continued the celebration dedicated to 150 years of voluntary resettlement of Korean people from their homeland Korea to Russia.

And again the celebration was organized by Russian Koreans and had full support of local government and administration. The main organizer was Mr. Men Cher and Mr. Kim Nicolay Petrivich, a widely known person for his philanthropy and charity.

Members of all Russia Taekwon-Do Federation opened this event under the guidance of our representative there Mr. Vladimir Li, a 5th degree black belts holder and the World Champion 1999 in Argentina.

After that the audience had the possibility to enjoy the North and South Korea Taekwon-Do Demonstration teams. As an ITF practitioner I was focused on North Korean Taekwon-Do demonstration team. The demonstration was perfect and again received the warmest applause from the audience!

Among the honorable guests was our friend Mr. Terechov Anatolu, the president of Russia Taekwondo WTF Federation member of the World Taekwondo Federation council and Vice-President of European Taekwondo Union.

For me it was a great pleasure to admire the demonstration of two teams and especially ITF team from North Korea. I can confirm that their techniques are really perfect. Of course I was also very happy to see that members of all Russia Taekwon-Do ITF invited me as the only ITF power in this part of Russia.
