Seminar and Black Belt Test in Poland

The technical seminar and the black belt grading held on the weekend 13th to 15th June 2014 in Wroclaw (West Poland) was the last important event from the activity calendar of Polish Taekwon-Do Association in the first half of the year. The organizer of this event was Mr. Adam Alenowicz, President and the head coach of the Wroclawski Sportowy Klub Taekwon-Do and Polish Taekwon-Do Association.

This time the seminar was conducted by Master Tadeusz Loboda – 7th degree, PTA President.

In the first training session on Friday evening took part all participants together. On Saturday the seminar was divided in two groups with regards to the participants’ technical and advancement level. The first group was aimed to the red and color belts. The second part was for the black belt holders. The main goal of the seminar was the improvement of basic movements from the patterns as well as hand and foot techniques. The participants of the advanced group were able to practice all 24 patterns created by Gen. Choi.

Together 57 participants - competitors and instructors from seventeen schools took part in the tutorial. The list of participants below:

The black belt degree test began on Saturday afternoon. The second part of the grading started at 9.00 am on Sunday morning.

The panel of examiners consisted of Master Zbigniew Bujak, Master Janusz Gutkowski and Mr. Zbigniew Semp was chaired by Grandmaster Ung Kim Lan from Germany, the Member of the ITF Technical Committee.

51 people approached the degree test from which 32 were promoted for 1st and higher degrees. The list of promoted people below:

According to the PTA calendar the next black belt grading will take place in December in Lublin.
