Polish Championships

21st Polish Juniors Younger Championships


21st Polish Juniors Younger Championships (14-16 years) was held on 16th -18th May 2014 in Nowa Ruda - Slupiec.

In the championships took part 236 competitors from 44 schools.

The organizer was Mr. Grzegorz Ozimek from MKST Bystrzyca Kłodzka.

23rd Polish Juniors Championships (17-18 years)


23rd Polish Juniors Championships (17-18 years) was held on 24th -25th May 2014 in Bystrzyca Klodzka. In the championships took part 106 competitors from 33 schools.

The organizer was also Mr. Grzegorz Ozimek from MKST Bystrzyca Kłodzka.

At the official opening ceremony the honor guests were the authorities of Bystrzyca Kłodzka City, with the Mayor Mrs. Renata Surma. The organization of these championships was closely bound with the anniversary of 30 years of Taekwon-Do in Klodzko Region.

On this occasion the activist of the Taekwon-Do School in Bystrzyca Kłodzka were awarded with the commemorative diplomas. At the evening took place an official dinner with the representatives of the Polish Taekwon-Do Association Board of Directors, local authorities, officials and club activists.

27th Polish Senior Championships


27th Polish Senior Championships took place on 6th – 8th June 2014. 161 competitors from 30 schools came to Czestochowa.

The organizer was Professor Jacek Wąsik, Ph.D. from Czestochowska Akademia Taekwon-do. During the official opening ceremony Master Tadeusz Łoboda – PTA President handed in the diplomas of Polish Ministry of Sport to the coaches whose competitors got medals on the European and World Championships 2013.

Subsequently took place the ceremony on the occasion of the official end of the sports career of Ms. Aleksandra Nowak (CzAT Czestochowa) and Mr. Jaroslaw Suska (MKS Lewart AGS Lubartow). Both competitors have received memorial diplomas and gifts from the Polish Taekwon-Do Association and the home Taekwon-do clubs.

The championships were visited by local politicians, the authorities of the University where the championships were held and the city authorities.

All mentioned championships were on very high sport and organizational level. Based on the results the National Coaches will appoint the members of the wide National Polish Team for the World Championships 2015 in Italy and European Championships 2015 in Scotland.
