We deeply regret to announce the tragic death of Igor Mareev, 4th degree black belt and general secretary of Russian Federation of Taekwon-Do.

On march 8th midnight, he went under the ice while was driving his car on an iced lake that he didn't understand that it was there. Unfortunately he didn't manage to escape from the sunk car.

Igor was a hard worker of Russian Federation, one of its first members. He was very talented person and made extremely big work in development and spread of Taekwon-Do principles in Russia. He dedicated his life to Taekwon-Do. It is a great loss for all of us.

Russian Taekwon-Do family will miss you. Rest in peace.
