On January 11th, 2014 in Novotel Hotel Centrum in the center of Warsaw, the capitol of Poland, was held the meeting of the All Europe Taekwon-Do Federation Board of Directors. Present at the meeting were: Master Tadeusz Łoboda - the President, Master Coos van den Heuvel - the Vice-President, Master Jerzy Jedut - the Secretary General, Miss Mimmi Oskarsson, Mr. Philip Lear, Master Lazaros Tsilfidis, Mr. Tomaz Barada and Mr. Leonardo Oros Duek - the members. The Revisory Commission was represented by Master Frank Vanberghen - the Chairman and Master Panagiotis Gialamas – the Secretary.
The Board approved the minutes of the AETF Board of Directors held on 4th October 2012 in Brighton, England and on 1st May 2013 in Skovde, Sweden as well as recommended to the AETF Congress to approve the Minutes of the AETF Congress held on 2nd May 2013 in Skovde, Sweden.
The Board and Revisory Commission were acquainted with the report of activity in 2013.
It was decided to start actions in order to change the rules of the European Cup. Master Lazaros Tsilfidis from Russia and Mr. Leonardo Oros Duek from Israel were appointed to prepare a proposal with new age groups.
The Board approved balance sheet and realisation of the budget in 2013 and agreed for the preliminary for 2014. Master Frank Vanberghen - the AETF Revisory Commission Chairman presented the report of the financial and essential activity of Board Members which confirmed the regularity and transparency of federation.
One of the points of the agenda was the report of the AETF T&U Committee and their suggestion how to improve the organization of the Championships. A main change approved by the Board will be the appointment of the umpires for the championships by the AETF T&U Committee, similar as in ITF.
The Board discussed and approved the details about the European Championships 2014 in Italy and the European Cup 2014 in Hungary.
A large part of the meeting was dedicated to different activities resulting from the current matters.
The participants were accommodated in the Novotel Hotel in the center of Warsaw and had an opportunity to check the facilities for organization of possible international Taekwon-do events in the capitol of Poland. Despite the hectic schedule of the meeting the participants found time to take a walk through the Old Town of Warsaw or to buy some souvenirs.
