The last event of the passing 2013 year organized by the Polish Taekwon-Do Association was the seminar for the candidates for the black belts, the meeting of the PTA Board of Directors and the black belt test.
Traditionally the seminar was conducted by Master Jerzy Jedut, 7th Degree – the Wicepresident of the PTA for the technical matters. 28 participants, among them 13 black belt holders, took part in the seminar.

The seminar and black belt test was an additional reason to organize the last meeting of the PTA Board of Directors in 2013 (according to the rules of activity of PTA Board of Directors there are four meetings each year). During the assembly it was decided about the final budget for 2014, calendar of events and assessment of the activity of member schools. The Board also summarized the participation of the National Team in the European and World Champonships and evaluated the work of the National Team Coaches. The important point of the meeting was the nomination of Mr. Jaroslaw Suska, 6th Degree for the position of the Polish National Male Team Coach. Currently, Mr. Suska, who officially finished his long and successful sport career, will be one of five coaches who will be responsible for the preparation of the Polish National Team for the most important championships.
The first part of the exam for the 1st degree was held on Saturday evening. On Sunday morning the second part of candidates entered the exam for 1st degree as well as the candidates for 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th degree. Together 40 people took part in the grading.
The panel of examiners consisted of GM Ung Kim Lan – 9th Degree, Master Zbigniew Bujak – 7th Degree, Master Janusz Gutkowski – 7th Degree and Mr. Zbigniew Semp – 6th Degree gave promotion to 28 people.
