On the 13th-15th of December, 2013, in Odessa was held competitions for the Cup of Ukraine among children, juniors and adults. In the competition participated 215 the most prepared sportsmen from 11 regional branches of AUTU: Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovograd, Crimean Republic, Odessa, Rivne, Kharkiv and Chernivtsi. Also, the event was attended by athlets from Moldova and Bulgaria.

— The competition was of two types: sparring and formal exercises (Tul), in individual and team championships — said the chief referee Irina Kuznetsova. — Each sportsman made maximum efforts and showed their best sporting and moral qualities. The strongest were awarded with diplomas and with memorable medals. Each region has its champions. In the team sparring first place took athletes from Ivano-Frankivsk, and the leader of formal exercises — athlets from Kharkov. Team competitions — a very difficult and responsible test for anyone, which needs a lot of courage and self-sacrifice — added Irina Kuznetsova.

 

 

As a result of the competitions, the Cup of All-Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union gained athletes from Kharkov, ahead of the competition's favorites — the team from Ivano-Frankivsk. In this tournament with the total number of medals obtained the third place athletes from Moldova.
