The 6th Taekwondo Open tournament - „Lynx 2013” was held in Jēkabpils on the 23rd of November. This tournament could surely be labeled as international due to the fact that there were 125 sporstmen from 11 differen sports clubs and 3 different countries participating.

Belarus team was represented by “Belarusian Public Association TKD ITF” – 25 participants, trainer – Oleg Pronevich, by sports club „Sparta” – 32 participants, trainer - Vitaly Mihelson and a sports club „Litvin” – 6 sportsmen and their trainer Vitaly Dernovich.

Alongside with Belarus also Poland was represented in this tournament by the club „So – San” (Belostok, Poland) – 5 sportsmen and their trainer Wojciech Zdanuczyk.

Latvian sportsmen were represented by 8 clubs: „Eldo Sport”, „Čin Gu”, „Viktorija-T”, „Alex Club” – Rīga; „TKD’’ and „Tan Gun’’ – Jēkabpils and a Taekwondo club from Livāni.

The common atmosphere in the tournament was very friendly and warm, not regarding the fact that from time to time the situation on the dojang got a little bit rough and tense which can easily be explained by the great passion for sports.

Nevertheless all sportsmen showed themselves as great fighters and demostrated good Taekwondo technique.

By the quantity of earned medals the ranking of clubs is as follows:

• 1st place – „Sparta” (Belorussia)
• 2nd place –„ Belarusian Public Association TKD ITF” (Belorussia)
• 3nd place – „Viktoria – T’’ (Riga, Latvia)
