The year 2013 was for All Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union, leaded by Mr. Valentin Zorba, a realization of a new strategy approved during the last AUTU Election. The strategy assumes a greater engagement in the education of the instructors and competitors and the organizational development. This was realized during the whole year.
On Saturday, November 9th in Kiev All Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union organized the technical seminar with Grand Master Willem Jacob Bos, 9th Degree - the Member of the ITF Technical Committee and the Director of ITF Board. GM Bos is one of the best instructors worldwide. Despite his age (he finished 60 years), his physical fitness is still impressive and may for sure be and inspiration for young generations of Taekwon-Do students.

To summaries, all attendees were very satisfied and content with the seminar. GM Bos underlined the great atmosphere and the high level of commitment of all participants. All contestants received the certificate of participation signed by Grand Master himself.
The seminar with GM Bos was the third technical seminar in the going year. The first one was conducted by Master Jerzy Jedut on 19th - 20th January in Kiev. The raport from this event can be read here: http://www.itfeurope.org/NL2013-01-23.html.
The second seminar was conducted by Mr. Tomaz Barada on 23-24th March 2013 in Ivano-Frankivsk. You can find the report under this link: http://www.itfeurope.org/NL2013-01-69.html.
Due to the fact that GM Bos fulfills the function of ITF Technical Committee member and of the ITF Board Director, one of the main goals of his trip was also to learn more about the activity of All Ukrainian Taekwon-Do Union, its organizational structure as well as about its instructors' technical level and potential, which he evaluated very high. GM Bos as the official representative of ITF could also directly clarify the organizational structure of International Taekwon-Do Federation, the benefits resulting from being ITF Member, but also all the requirements and obligations for National Associations and their instructors.
During their stay in Kiev the guests had an opportunity to sightsee the historical center of the Ukrainian Capitol. The AUTU leaders used the opportunity to show the sport halls that may be in the future the venue of many important International Taekwon-Do events.
