From 20 to 22th a beautiful city of Sibiu (Hermannstadt) in Transylvania one of the most cultural centers of Romania, designated a European Capital of Culture for the year 2007, was a host of Romanian Autumn Camp.

Have been invited Mr. Oleg Solovey (5th degree) – Vice-president of All Ukrainian TKD Union, head coach of National Ukrainian Team and Kateryna Solovey – multiple European and World Champion.

This event organized by the P.U.M.A. club from Sibiu and Banea Ciprian – IV Degree – local organizer, participated 110 athletes from 16 Romanian clubs including components of the national team, come to practice sparring skills. Some of them will participate in October at World Championships in Spain.

All participants were impressed by the sparring drills and receive many tips to improve their skills from the honored guests.

Besides sparring skills were held instructors seminar conducted by Mr. Marius Oltean – VI degree, President of Romanian Taekwon-do Federation and Umpires Course conducted by Mircea Muntean – VI Degree, Secretary General and head of Romanian Umpires Committee.

The camp will end with black belt exam leaded by Mr. Marius Oltean – VI degree; Sunday afternoon all participants had the opportunity to visit the historic city center.
