Black Belt Second Part
After watching this fantastic and breathtaking trailer many people were curious about the Black Belt 2 program. There is no doubt that the Black Belt is a very unique project. Finally, the second part of the software, created by Mr Lukas Grygiel, is complete. You can read about the first part at http://www.itfeurope.org/NL2011-04-29.html.
- Lukas, it has been over a year since you put your product on the market. Were people interested in your program?
Yes, for over a year people from all around the world were contacting me about the Black Belt DVD. We have been sending to Greenland, Australia, New Zealand, Bolivia, Uruguay, and of course many countries in Europe.
- How did people respond to it?
I am proud to say that we have met with only good opinions about our product. Our approach to give our clients the best performance possible and all options they might need paid off. It is really encouraging to receive this kind of feedback from fellow Taekwon-do practioners.

- What can you tell us about the second part of the software?
Having received all this great feedback, I was trying to raise the bar for myself and put more useful features in the program. One thing remains the same of course – patterns are still performed by Mr Jaroslaw Suska VI DAN, who became 20-time European champion earlier this year and is still 5-time world champion. All the functionalities from the first part remain.
- So, what is new about Black Belt 2 and what material does it cover?
On the DVD you will find patterns from Kwang-Gae to Choi-Yong. The layout of the part where a pattern is displayed has changed a lot. The area for the video (on the screen) is larger which is very important; video resolution is higher comparing to the first part and I have added a slow motion mode so you can observe every movement with more details.
It took a lot of time and effort but also in slow motion mode I enabled 'step by step' and 'repeat movement' options. You can, of course, still observe frozen movements from different angles.
During playback you will notice additional information if movement should be performed in a specific way (continuous motion, stepping motion or else).
Diagram and information about patterns can be hidden from the stage so you can focus on the presentation more. I have also added full screen option where all the buttons and information are hidden.
- How long will the pre-order last?
Pre-Order ends on 31 of August. Till then there are really attractive prices on our website. Of course there are also special discounts for clubs which want to order more copies to resell among their students. We are open to any form of cooperation.
- What is the price of the program right now?
During the pre-order it is 49.99€ + delivery. Given that it contains the best quality material, which we will use for several years - the price should not be a problem for those who want to develop their career in Taekwon-do.
The entire impression about the Black Belt program is amazing! There are many very good opinions regarding the first part of the Black Belt and I am sure that they will be even better as regards the second part of this remarkable program.
Please, find below some of the impressions and personal opinions on the topics of the first part of the software:
- Master Tadeusz Loboda – AETF President, PTA President
- ‘Black Belt’ is the multimedia program for learning Taekwon-Do. It combines learning techniques and theory of Taekwon-Do. Masterly performance of Mr. Jaroslaw Suska, five times World Champion and twentieth-time European Champion in patterns, makes it an indispensable element while preparing for subsequent exams and tournaments. The software is developed in cooperation with the Polish Taekwon-Do Association.
I strongly recommend buying this software.
- Mr Lazaros Tsilfidis - President of All Russian Taekwon-Do ITF Federation
- Our Polish colleagues once again pleased us. We have always admired the Polish Federation of Taekwon-Do ITF. For more than 20 years, it holds the palm in the Championships and the European Championship. Stable member of the top three countries in the world. This is a result of its professional approach.
Multimedia program - a new development, which allows us to see individual pattern from four angles at the same time to read the name of each technical action. Technique performs the strongest athletes in the world on the program Pattern – Jaroslaw Suska, a graduate of the Secretary General Pan-European Federation of Master Jerzy Jedut. This program is an invaluable aid as an instructor and his students.
I fully support this program and recommend it to anyone.
- Mr Harry van Schaik - 6th Degree – Member of ITF Development Committee
A few years back I met Mr Lukasz Grygiel from ITF Poland at a competition and he told me he was working with our most rewarded senior in males patterns, Sabum Jaroslaw Suska, to make a DVD. I liked the idea and we discussed a couple of times about the progress of the DVD. When the DVD got released I saw immediately that this was a tool what could help all practitioners from white belt to the higher degrees to get more information of the patterns. A lot of our club students bought this DVD with my recommendation. I congratulate Mr Lukasz Grygiel, Master Loboda and Master Jedut with this excellent tool to show the world the excellence of Sabum Suska which we had the honor to host for a seminar a few years back in the Netherlands. I look forward to the latest edition and I think an asset for every serious Taekwon-Doin in and out of competion.
- Master Jerzy Jedut - VII DAN - Vice-president of PTA
This is the first such program in the world, its aim is to record patterns and
techniques of Taekwon-do ITF. Patterns are recorded from four cameras, so the
students of Taekwondo can easily learn from this program. it is important to learn from the best example and Jarek is the best in the world when it comes to
performing patterns.
I think it's a very good idea - especially for training and also for posterity.
Some comments from the Black Belt website’s Guestbook:
- Troy
- Looks like a great product. I hope to try it out soon. I would like to see an example the techniques part. I am converting to ITF & being able to view each technique in detail would be very helpful. If possible in future versions the ablility to slow down the video could be useful to help see the detail & an explanation of the various sine wave motions as this is one of the most foreign & misunderstood part for non-ITF students. Overall the patterns section looks excellent.
- Guest from Sri Lanka
- I am happy of your project. I think this will help the Taekwon-Do students to perfect their patterns.
Greetings from Sri Lanka

- Excellent work.
I also highly recommend the Black Belt Project as a fantastic tool for learning as well as a perfect gift for every Taekwon-Do practitioner.
