On the 12th and April 13th took place in the city of Buenos Aires (Argentina) the second convention of the International Taekwon-Do Federation for Masters and Instructors, to which I had the opportunity to attend.

On Friday the 12th the convention started in the main hall of the Association of Physicians Argentines, starting with a keynote address by the President of the ITF, GM Pablo Trajtenberg and a speech by Secretary General Master Juan Ferrando opening the ceremony.

On Friday we had the opportunity to attend the first lecture by Professor Anselmi on "Construction of taekwondo in physical conditioning " the teacher showed us the different forms of training for the reaction and for training exercises. Then we had the opportunity to attend the conference that Mr. Fabian Izquierdo conducted on the benefits and advantages of implementing the new TKD KIDS program being followed and finally by the late Professor Laskowsky conference on body techniques alternatives with explanations of modern methods to enhance the pedagogy of art.

The Saturday was beginning the day with the presentation of the technical book ITF developed by GM Trajtenberg, GM Marano and GM GM Bos, the presentation of the book was great excitement and the presents we had occasion to see the great work. Then GM Bos had explained to all present the changes that the ITF is performing both in the field of umpiring and competition, as in the implementation of the new program of TKD KIDS , as they are also doing work in helping and professionalization increasingly the ITF.

Following the convention in the first place Master Alberto Katz show us with his lecture on the principles and tools of retention of students, many of the possibilities that instructors and schools have to retain students, really interesting. Then we had a conference with the Maestro Desiderio on injury prevention in Taekwon-Do and then with Miss Herrsher on Coaching and its benefits, followed by the lecture of Dr. Cabral on legal matters and Dr. Giuliani on the relationship of power, conflict and leadership. To end the Dr Stonemasons performed an exhibition about marketing tools so important to our social center’s.

The present Grand Masterts G M Trajtenberg, GM Bos, GM Ramish, GM Crispino, GM Dacak, GM Marano, along with Master Ferrando closed the second convention.

Personally, it was an opportunity to attend conferences and learn from speakers who exhibited besides all present and I realized the need and importance of these conventions and services that ITF is giving us.

I would emphasize the concern with which GM Trajtenberg and GM Marano especially worked for two days not losing any detail of the event to make it a success.
